SAMP focuses on supporting artists, audiences, and students of all ages
with new approaches to performance and learning.

SAMP has been presenting and providing funding support for concerts with our partnering ensembles and others since 2005 in the San Francisco Bay Area and around the world.

SAMP’s Introduction to Instrumental Music open houses have been presented to the general public, free of charge, since 2015.

Part music ed workshop and part concert, kids and their caregivers connect as families, and families get connected to great local musicians in their community.

Small Art Music Projects’ mission is to support the creation, presentation, and documentation of innovative new music - within the San Francisco Bay Area and around the world - as well as to teach future generations how to perform it, listen to it, and educate students to be able to leverage those skills to enrich their lives and capabilities inside and outside of the art form of music.
